I have read what could on here,I am mechanically inclined.
Just curious how is the drive shaft connected to the transmission?bolts nuts ?what size?
Trying to get all my ducks in a row,I am 4 hrs from where I will dock my boat so I need to be prepared .
Also just how hard is it to slide the shaft back?
I have a very young able crew to help just trying to wrap my head around this
Looks like the boat will be delivered in 2 weeks
Any and all pictures are welcome,
Thanks

Re: Tides drive shaft seal assy
A coupler, pretty simple, unbolt coupler and use a puller to remove. Obviously don't try to beat the shaft through the coupler while attached to transmission (yes, people do this unfortunately). The shaft pulled out easily on mine. I replace a pss shaft seal with a tides, not too bad of a job. I will look for some pics.
