My plan is to mount the 265 on the port side and gt21 on the starboard side.

I have read all the threads here,so the port side is the best for the transducer i will use most of the time(265 chirp)
I am hoping the other one will work once i am over my fishing spots?

Just curious if anyone here has any thoughts?

I’ve two on both the starboard side. My CHIRPS is transom mounted right in the prop wash. No problem under ten knots and my sonar is about 4’ forward of that under the hull. Again no problem under 15 knots.

Both being swapped out next year though for Raymarine Real Vision so will have one both sides of the hull.
