Radar Arch manufacturer for 28TE?

Hello -

My 28 came with a tapered light mast that doesn't fit radar. I'm looking to get a semi-custom arch built but having a heck of a time in WA. I've called 5 stainless railing and tower manufactures in WA, but none of them are taking on custom work because all of the boat builders in the area are keeping them busy (Nordic Tugs, Ranger Tugs, Cutwater, SeaSport, Osprey, etc.). Does anybody know who manufactured the factory arches for the 28's? I searched the forums and couldn't find it. Maybe they are still in business and have measurements...

The Catch 22 of a good economy! I'll have to take a closer look at your set up, have you seen all the different mounts that are available through manufacturers like Seaview? I'm guessing you have at this point.

Yep, Seaview aft leaning mast will likely be the fallback plan. I'd rather have an arch that I can put rod holders on and also mount a custom cockpit brow canvas on, while leaving room for paddle boards. I'm not asking for much

Can anybody tell me if the factory arch is brushed aluminum, anodized aluminum, or stainless? Worried about corrosion in a saltwater environment.

I received a pretty reasonable quote on having one custom made with brushed 6063 marine aluminum, still waiting on the anodized aluminum quote. The custom stainless quote I got was ridiculous...

My arch on my 2002 28 TE was aluminum .. not sure if it was brushed or anodized, but it did require polishing once a year during my 6 month season. By the end of my boating season, it would begin to show signs of whitish powder corrosion. I'd say 90+ % would always polish off.

In later years and with my 31 TE the factory radar arch was polished 316 stainless.
