New toy

Figured I would start a new thread. Brought the new boat home Saturday afternoon. Was blowing 15-20 with a significant chop on the bay. Set the throttles at 1800rpm giving me about 18-19 knots. A little trim tab down and she just ran flat. Got to the marina with no issues. Got her into the slip with no fuss. Was worried about docking her in the wind. With her weight and size she just sat there till I told her what to do. All in all very happy. She’s a big jump up from the Albin 28.

Thank you. Incidentally that is my dads Albin 32+2 (poco loco) in the background in two of the photos. I was standing on its deck to take the panoramic photo of the Viking. Funny thing is the pano makes the Viking look smaller than the Albin lol

Yup, I recognized his boat right away. Best of luck, she's a beauty. You'll find the bridge is a great hang-out spot.
Where'd you run her home from?
Bonus that you already have the cockpit shade. I planned to do that same one but picked up one of these Taylor Mades a couple seasons ago for the time being and it's okay for now. Good for high noon but too small for the angled sunshine times of day...

Just up the bay from where she’s now. I’m in Waretown she was at the state marina at forked river. Yea she came with a ton of extras, and lots of good upgrades like satellite tv, new sounder/plotter (needs a new radar) etc
