Thinking about replacing my bench seat A25

I need some thoughts and ideas about replacing the bench seat on my 1972 A25. The current bench seat makes it difficult to access the engine. I'm toying with individual helm seats and thinking of fabricating a means to secure the pedestal mounts to the floor. Please give me your thoughts and how you've changed your seats.

Thanks, this is more of what I'm thinking. I notice you are using two different style seats. Is width an issue mounting at the helm position?

The doghouse engine cover on the WillieC is one of the more "portable" components in the cabin. No lockdowns, just gravity in the groovies. I wouldn't bolt a cupholder to ours, let alone a seat on a tall lever. I have enough bumps on my head just from walking down into the galley. But I do like the idea of comfy buckets.

The engine hatch on my model had positive fasteners. Maybe that's why, for a seat
