Can only speak for my holding tank: It is under deck, Starboard side, aft of the
Helm seat and underneath the tackle box storage drawers.

Re: holding tank on an Albin 28
I have a 2000 and located in the same spot. I just changed from a 10 gallon to a 20 gallon. Macerator, I don’t have one. Mine is part of my electric flush toilet. On my previous boat it was connected to the bottom of the holding tank. When turned on it would pump and grind the content then discharge thru the hull.

Same on my 2002 engine box. Under the helm chair. The macerator on my had the power disconnected when they changed from raw water toilet to the new fresh water electric toilet. I plan to remove mine this week and eliminate the second Y valve that diverts waste up to deck pump out or to macerator the hull discharge.

Would anyone in the group know if the Tournament 28's were factory wired to accommodate a macerator ?

Yea, pretty sure as the 12 volt panel has a “Macerator” switch.Lobstabuoy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:55 pm Would anyone in the group know if the Tournament 28's were factory wired to accommodate a macerator ?

On my FD, the macerated on the helm panel is for the fish box macerated. The head overboard switch is in the cabin panel.
