Not much to report this year. Renewed cutlass bearing. Rebuilt cutlass bearing housing since it was starting to de zinc, so machined away the bad part and fitted a new stern tube spigot - silver soldered in place.
Had my propellor reworked and pitch bought back to 19” with a medium cup but the prop shop has worked some magic - see below picture! Did actually hit over 24 knots but marine traffic didn’t log that.
Also removed my roof handrails and made some cups for them to sit in due to slight leaks. Forward windows had minor leaks due to the seals being tired and shrunk - made some temporary repairs by using black sealant but does look alright.
Replaced my osculati underwater lights with some Ocean LED lights - Christ they’re bright!
Antifoul and usual polish.
1 1/2 weeks to complete - forecast for the weekend looks great!

Yep. I can keep an eye on the growth easier with it - not that much grows on white. Also I fish - when fishing with lures, the white helps hide the boat from shoals of fish below not unlike the underside of a fish which is generally lighter than its top side.

What RPM did you hit 24 knots?. Did actually hit over 24 knots but marine traffic didn’t log that.

Wow, good numbers.
What did you get @ 3,600?
(I cruise at 3,600, get 16.5 knots if heavy and 17.5 when light. Been tweaking the props to get more efficiency without getting into an “over-prop” situation.)

I’d be 20+ knots at 3600. I run at 3300/3400 usually and see between 17 to 19 knots depending on conditions.
