fuel burn, speed
I am looking at a 1987 Albin 48 North Sea Cutter with Twin Volvo 225's. The reason for our purchase is we want to travel the east coast and the Bahamas. I am looking for performance information from anyone who might have experience with this model. looking for cruise speed and fuel burn mostly but would be interested in max speed(not that I will run it like that), reliability of the engine and transmissions (currently 2400 Hrs.). I have heard about the Albin's cored hulls so I know to have surveyor look out for that. looks like a great vessel, just looking for input. Thanks!
