I've sadly inherited ny fathers boat which was owned by another member of this forum. A 1995 Albin 28 Express named Afterglow.
She will be going up for sale very shortly. In the meantime I need to winterize her. Does anyone have a checklist for that they can share?
I'll be moving her this week from the Choptank to Annapolis, but I want to winterize the systems afterwards.
Thank you so much. I'm so grateful to have found this fount of knowledge.

Welcome, Heather.
Sorry to hear of your sad inheritance. That is a great boat, by all accounts, and surely help is on the way from the forum. Afterglow is well known here.

Heather,
I replied to your email earlier. Frank was a good guy. I am so sorry to hear the news.
I was just getting ready to send Frank a burgee or hat.
Any questions you have don't hesitate to ask here for answers from members that have more experience than I or send a note or call.

Welcome, Heather. I'm sorry that it's sad news that's brought you here. Have you considered having the yard or a mechanic do the winterizing? That would be the simplest. If you're up for doing it yourself, I'm sure John will give you a list.

Heather,
Checking in. Have you put the boat up for sale or sold it?
