Yes, I am interested. Like others, Zoom preferred but I'm flexible (perhaps not as much as I once was but...)

Re: Quick Poll regarding virtual rendezvous
If the numbers are low we can do zoom but we are only limited to 40 minutes before we have to disconnect and can only have a small amount of people unless you are on a paid account.
I have a MS teams account and it can be unlimited time with lots of people, hence my preference but it’s all flexible at the moment.
I’ve been liaising with Jon about the time difference. GMT, EST and what ever west coast and PNW times are - obviously not everyone can jump on at the same time as we are looking at quite a few hours difference between time zones.
I propose to start off here at around 20:00 GMT which will be 15:00 EST. Then I propose someone else takes the baton on the east coast to carry it over to the west coast etc - I might be lucky enough to catch west coast time when I wake up the next day!!!
As it’s the Super Bowl this weekend and many of you will be watching the American Rules Rugby with body armour I think we should aim for the end of the month - April 27th?
It’ll be good to put names to faces plus it could be an open forum on boat maintenance etc where it’s easier to chat about stuff rather than type it.
Spread the word because this could really be great.
I think if everyone messages myself or Jon with your email details ( they’ll be on the AOG database already I assume) so probably best to message Jon. We can both then share the list of emails so we know who to send the invites out to.
Think I’ve covered the basics - please chime in if you’ve any sugggestions.

Re: Quick Poll regarding virtual rendezvous
Excellent - April 27 will work out great. I'm calendaring it now, so I stand a good chance of not missing it. Most boats will be floating or about to float, winter maintenance will have raised questions, weather will be coming back together and the beer will be cold.
Love the reference to "ARR". (Used to hook for Old Boys and various Andrew ships' teams - didn't wear earmuffs, but was known to chew garlic before games)

Re: Quick Poll regarding virtual rendezvous
Tree, did you mean Feb. 27? 20:00 in the motherland will be noon on the U.S. west coast (Pacific time), so it might work for everyone.
I agree that if Zoom, it would need to be on a paid account. For those averse to Teams, why? I believe it has a simple web interface - nothing to download or join.

Re: Quick Poll regarding virtual rendezvous
Nancy - good to know someone is awake! Absolutely February!
Because of the time difference would need to do at least two calls but everyone would be invited to all calls so it gives everyone an option.
