Battery power
I have an Albin 36 Trawler. I just replaced the batteries. Now I have no battery power in the boat. I have shore power. But when I switch over to batteries, nothing. Am I missing something. I checked to make sure correct wires are hooked to batteries., they are. I checked batteries. Fully charged. Please help. I am new to this size of a boat

Re: Battery power
A very preliminary couple of questions: did you have battery power in the boat using the old batteries? Are you certain that you connected the new batteries exactly the same way as the old ones?

Re: Battery power
Here is an excellent and recent article on boat battery maintenance (Practical Boat Owner UK)
Nancy’s question is excellent. A second one is: Why did you replace your original batteries? https://www.pbo.co.uk/expert-advice/bat ... ries-63421

Re: Battery power
If the battery connections are correct and the battery switch wiring was never touched then the only thing I can think of is the DC main switch on the DC panel. It usually has a pilot light on when the switch is in the on position. Is it lit?
