If the stars align, I'd like to start a "Great Loop" trip this spring on board my 31 TE. I think the trip would be better from a fly bridge, but so far all can come up with is a pipe rig, tuna tower looking thing.

A "Great Loop" trip "Sweet".
As John had said the TE series was not set-up for a fly bridge and I imagine to have one custom built would be cost prohibitive. For a while I was wrestling with a Marlin or Tuna tower for PITOU and just decided for the 28 it was a little over the top, but for a 31 ...... you've got the length and the beam. The Marlin Tower puts your feet on the roof of the pilot house and the Tuna Tower sets you a bit higher with a platform set above the roof a couple or plus, plus feet.
Here are a few photos I had gathered on my quest. The 1st 2 photos are 31 TE's and the last 3 photos are 28 TE's. I'm sure you've done some research, but I thought I'd pass the photos on.
Also, check out the photos of LEGACY, Rick has a Marlin Tower on her.
