My electric water heater has never worked since I picked up Time After Time last May. The hot water works when, and just after being underway, but when on shore power, nothing. I am assuming the electrical element is burnt out. I may have actually done it myself when i picked the boat up. In my ignorance I may have turned the switch on with no water in the tank.
I have looked at the minimal manual from Force 10 and can see where the element hides behind a cover on the rear surface of the tank, but don't see how the cover comes off. Has anybody done this repair that might offer some tips?
