Guess there are a number of ways to safely siphon fuel from jerry can into the tank. Kind of reverse "Arkansas Credit Card". I suppose a fuel hose & primer bulb for portable outboard gas tanks would work too.

Oh, raking clams! Quahogs? The reason we took our boat east in 2015 was because we were invited by friends to spend a week at a vacation beach house in Weekapaug, RI just down the road from Groton. Nearby was a tidal pond where we dug for Quahogs. The owners of the house had their license & the little rectangular gauges to measure for size limits.
