Albin 35 sportfish
Hi all I am in contract with an 1996 Albin 35 Sportfish with command bridge, twin 6.5 Peninsulars w 1100 hours. Looking for anything on the model as I only see one other for sale in the US. How many where produced, performance etc. This is the galley up with side bunks. Anything Albin related to watch out for in the survey? Much appreciate any advice and details on this model.

Re: Albin 35 sportfish
There was no 35 SF in 96. only a 32 SF (Command Bridge) followed by the 32+2 Command Bridge early in the 96 production cycle. Very few 32s were done with twins because of weight, balance and lack of space. I wouldn't recommend this.

Thanks for the reply this is not the 32 sportfish it is the 35 completely different boat take a look at the attached picture, layout is much like the TE but with a fly bridge.

Re: Albin 35 sportfish
What you have under contract is a 35 TE Flybridge "Sportfish / LS" . The confusion lies in your description as Albin did make an earlier model called the "Sportfish" which preceded the TE series boats.Mooncusser3 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 6:58 pm Hi all I am in contract with an 1996 Albin 35 Sportfish with command bridge, twin 6.5 Peninsulars w 1100 hours. Thanks, I learn something every day! These must have been pretty rare. Don't remember them being advertised when we bought our 32+2 new in 96.Mooncusser3 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 5:15 am Thanks for the reply this is not the 32 sportfish it is the 35 completely different boat take a look at the attached picture, layout is much like the TE but with a fly bridge.

Re: Albin 35 sportfish
Engine access must be a bit tight with the V8's …. the 35TE with twin inline 6's is a little tight.
