Re: Which hull form to buy? I am irritated...
I'm with LopezMike and DA...
I've owned a Checkmate, a Baja, and 3 Donzi's. The turning point for me is when I took my wife and a friend for a ride in the Donzi.
"Wanna go across the bay? Ok." Waaaaaaa!!!! "Now where? Over to the canal? Ok."
Waaaaaaaaa!!!!!. "Now where? Dunno...Let's go back and have lunch. Ok." Waaaaa!!!!!!!!
The "Waaaaaa!!!!!!!" was the sound of my Donzi draining my fuel tank at 60 mph. We went for three 10 minute rides.
My next boat was a 32' Pacemaker Convertible. Why? Because as a friend told me when he saw what I bought.... "Eventually, in life you'll want a boat that goes slow enough that you can hear the blender run".
Haven't had a "go fast" boat since. Unless you consider my Albin 25 with a 25 hp diesel a "go fast" boat.

and now Hetek and plenty of other satisfied A25ers.
This is an old post and I think I posted earlier, but it bears repeating.
I seriously need to end all this deferred homeowner maintenance and get the WillieC back in the water.

I knew it! Do you like your Seaway 24 Offshore better than your A25? No aft cabin, it must have been the hard top that hooked you.

You have mad deductive skills, nebulatech. Totally a love-love relationship with the new hardtop. (The aft cabin contents get towed in the dinghy.)
