So in my search for the perfect 28TE I stumbled across a 24 Getaway. Dont know much yet but Im told brand new Yanmar engine and on an aluminum trailer. Needs restoration $10k
Looking for info/thoughts on the 24 Getaway. I believe less than 50 were made.

Re: Albin 24 (27) Getaway???
My first result on Google brought me back to this forum. This post has some helpful info if you haven't already seen it:

New motor and the trailer both sound promising. The asking price is probably less than those two alone.

Re: Albin 24 (27) Getaway was a 70's 25 Deluxe
I saw one in person at a neighboring marina. I liked the looks of it.
It looks like a 4/5 scale version of a 28TE. Even the interior layout is similar.
The downside I heard is the weight. Supposedly, very heavy for its size. A Yanmar diesel is a plus. And a trailer too? Double plus.
I always said my third Albin would be a Getaway.
