Or probably more correctly where Lars Larsson went wrong, was in hiring Per Brohäll when he should have hired this guy:

Definitely a redneck trawler. Or redneck houseboat, like these. On the first one the three outboards look like they were Photoshopped in. Who knows, maybe the whole thing was photo shopped.
The shoreline in the background of the Glasply photo sure looks like Pacific NW.
By the way, saying "where Per Brohall went wrong" is blasphemy. The shoreline in the background of the Glasply photo sure looks like Pacific NW.

I really think the Glasply is serious. Looks like the bottom of your two is genuine, and I think you are right about the top one being Photoshop.

I really like the above from Holland! I've long daydreamed of a plain aluminum barge onto which one would moor at a boat ramp and back an RV trailer (Airstream?) down onto. Sockets in the deck to receive the wheels would hold it in place, along with a post forward with a coupler ball on top. Outboard power, of course.

Why not large inflatable pontoons either side of an Airstream-like, but watertight and purpose built, trailer? A little care with ballasting......NickScheuer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:27 am I really like the above from Holland! I'll have you know that he is far too busy running the Canadian Space Program.
