Lets say there are three 28TE boats for sale.
Pretty much equal in features, age, condition, hours etc.
Three different engines. Peninsular - Yanmar - Cummins.

I would pick the yanmar or Cummins due to parts availability although I don’t think the peninsular is a bad motor at all. I just like that I can walk into a marine supply store and buy off the shelf instead of ordering when in a jam. I would probably choose the Cummins due to cost of maitenance but I love my yanmar.
