Plastic ports or stainless steel? If plastic, they are Beckson ports, and everything you need to know is here: https://www.beckson.com/component.html

Re: Porthole replacement gasket
In that era of stainless portlights, Albin used Bomar/Pompanette "Passage Series" portlights.

Re: Porthole replacement gasket
Hey I’m a new Albin 28 TE owner. Does anyone know the size of the forward starboard porthole. I found the link to order a new gasket on this forum. Just want to order the right one. Options are 310, 512 etc.
Thx.
Thx.

I inquired the same with a marine contractor here in Fort Lauderdale and he responded: “Yes, it can be done, but will cost more than you are willing to pay.”.Larry cessna wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 5:21 pm I have a 1998. 28 te. Can i chang out the plastic to ss and that ones should i get
He was right.
Don’t have a firm price, but my guess is close to $4,000.00.

Re: Porthole replacement gasket
You're right in the neighborhood as far as portlight cost .. then there's installation. At build it was a $520 upgrade per portlight over the plastic Beckson's. 6 on the 28TE and 5 on the 31TE.Norseman wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 11:51 amI inquired the same with a marine contractor here in Fort Lauderdale and he responded: “Yes, it can be done, but will cost more than you are willing to pay.”.Larry cessna wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 5:21 pm I have a 1998. 28 te.
