If memory serves me I had to use a 1/4" piece to starboard to move it out. Ill check my emails from then and refresh my memory. I think I ordered a flange as well I just don't remember I was drinking cold beer!

Edit: I ordered a flush mount and had to order a flange to move it out. I don't think it was a big deal other than getting the parts. I must have deleted the email with pictures from the factory 8/4/15 but found it referenced in a newer thread. These vessels are all a bit different and you will need to get it there and measure then adapt. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Good info, thx.
I looked around and found a $64 “flange kit” for the Isotherm 49 Elegance, but not sure I needed it: Called the factory and they said No,
it comes with a flange and the door is sticking out 2 inches. (Proud mount)
The factory guy said the door is included in the total depth of 17,6”, hence the depth behind the flange is only 15,6”. Hope he is right, because then I have to cut less out of the top fiberglass opening if any.
(The new Norcold I looked at had 17” behind the flange and a square bottom)
We shall see..

He was wrong, called back and spoke to another tech.
Oh well, will start cutting once the fridge gets here and I can use actual dimensions.

Project is growing, now got the cabinet out and found water damage in the plywood: Enough meat left so I will just coat it with epoxy to regain strength and make it water proof.

Sink drain was corroded, not sure why, no salt water in the galley.
Will cruise the plumbing stores tomorrow and find a replacement

Faucet removed, will look for a replacement without the shower handle and retractable hose. Also pondering capping of the hot water for simplicity, not sure, will see what is available.

Found this one, but a bit pricey @ $108.

I am in the process of installing the Scandvik Minimalist Combination Fixture. I wanted to ditch the separate throttles for hot and cold while adding the shower handle for rinsing bigger items in a tiny sink!

The Norcold gives your the option for flush or proud installation, flange is movable.
I don't remember for sure. I don't think it's movable on the CR49.

We may have water damage in the galley sink cabinet as well. No rot. Not sure if it's old or whether it's ongoing. Only discovered it as I was emptying the cupboard in October. Figured I'd let it dry over the winter and look at it again in the spring. Have you figured out what caused the damage in yours?

Yeah, looks like the faucet gasket was compromised so any water splashed around the base would drip down into the cabinet.
It could also have been from the shower-handle hose, not sure, but tempting to add some louvers for better ventilation inside the sink/fridge compartment.
(I had a wooden boat many years ago, the key to keeping those alive was ventilation and more ventilation.)

Ended up ordering a smaller faucet from Amazon, Scandvik # 10485P

Cruised Home Depot and 2 marine stores first, they had nothing that would fit the limited space on my mighty Albin 28TE, pricey faucet at $150+ but what the hell, life is short..

1st coat of flexible epoxy on the water damaged cabinet.
Another coat tomorrow. Temporary pins to hold the pieces together while the epoxy cures.

New sink drain leaking, tried to use the barb/hose adapter from old sink drain to new sink drain. No go, not a good fit.
Will undo and toss that combo. Instead I ordered the this one from amazon:
8147811F-C0E6-442A-BBDA-DBC68402EE9E.png
It already has the 5/8” hose barb I need for the new drain hose.

Quick question: Does the rectangular base cover the 1 3/4” hole in the cabinet...?

I installed that faucet and drain fitting on my boat and both work perfectly. The faucet base covers the hole. The small size and single handle of the faucet make the compartment behind the sink much more accessible.
