Painting rod holder inserts
Hi all, I pulled out the under gunnel rod holders and am going to paint them. They are plastic on my boat and have yellowed. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations?

Re: Painting rod holder inserts
I painted mine after repairing several cracks. Used the rustoleum topside boat paint. The gloss white matched my white gel coat pretty close. Yours looks to be the off white. Going to do the other side this winter. There are other topside paints to choose from, the rustoleum has limited colors. Good luck!

Yessir thanks Carl! I remember talking to you about this. I think I’ve decided to take them to my automotive painter and get them sprayed something close to my cream gelcoat.
