Welcome, Don. My first wife hailed from McHenry County, Crystal Lake, and my father-in-law ran a business out of McHenry in another millenium. I know the area well, well back in the 70s anyway.
So what kind of boat are you looking for? Go fast fishing boat for those walleye? Lake Michigan is Big Water. We used to watch the thunderheads form over the lake way out on Barreville Road, nowhere near the lake. Then the lightning. Ah, summer. Welcome aboard.
