Can someone explain how the tach works on an MD3B engine & how to trouble shoot?
I have no rpm reading. I've check terminals at the gauge & at the sensor and both are tight. The wires have good continuity but I don't know what I should see at each point. Am I looking for 12v or ground? How do you verify if it's the gauge or the sensor?
Any help would be appreciated.
