35CB SS Port lights

Post by Rondo »

Does anyone know who made the SS port lights used on our 2007 Command Bridge? Looking to find interior shades and they seem manufacturer specific.

When we got our Albin 28 the previous owner cut out pieces of stuff like this. https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S- ... &gclsrc=ds

I have seen small sheets at Lowes I think.

Portlights are "Passage Series" from Bomar. If you find off the shelf shades that fit please let us know.

I checked out their site and they look pretty interesting and for boat related are reasonably priced. Are they fairly sturdy?

Yes! I have had the boat for 5 years and never had a problem with them. They are very easy to operate and everyone who sees them thinks they are “cool”.

See link below. We put some of this on our windows 10 years ago and it has worked perfect. Ours lets in light, but provides privacy. We have had many people ask where we got it and they are always surprised at its price. Easily removed for cleaning.

I called Zarcor and they had a pattern made for another 35CB. We now have the shades on each port light. Nice folks, thanks for the tip.
