I see the windshield is missing, and some odd vents replacing the factory cabin top vents, but at $650...seems a deal to me.

Actually looks like a great project boat for someone with tools and time. For 650.00 bucks what do you have to lose (other than your neighbors' good will and your spouse )

There was an A25 for sale in that neck of the woods about 4 or 5 years ago with the same engine as this one and it wouldn’t start. Seller said fuel delivery problem. I thought could be low compression. Maybe the same boat resurfacing. If $650 includes a trailer it’s an even better deal

The ad doesn’t say what caused the fire, but it looks totally repairable. I’m guessing something with the motor as it looks like the engine cover was off and thus undamaged. Definitely a good time to upgrade the electronics!

Yikes. Odd burn pattern. Yes, maybe the diesel heater. Doesn’t look like the fire started low. Electric short? Much of that would clean up. I once bought a Hobie Holder which had been in a garage which burned. It looked terrible. Cleaned off the soot and sailed it. Transom had melted, creased and resolidified once the fire was out. Posed no structural problem.
