How to fill fresh water tank?

I have two what look to be fresh water I takes. One has metal cover with key like gas tank the other is what’re and looks after market? Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I had a little accident lol or one of my guests did anyway. I have not filled these tanks yet as I am still getting other stuff in order and don’t need any surprises lol. Now that I have a new yellow friend in my toilet I guess we are filling her up. The metal one says water so I ha e to assume that is the stock water tank. I am at boat and will wait and search a little before I just start filling the tanks. I have all sea cocks open and have another fresh water hook by batteries to flush my ac but this one behind first mates chair has me guessing..

The one with the key should fill the tank. Is the other one for connecting a hose? If so that bypasses the tank and will give you water from the dock without draining your tank.

Thank you and its a 98. I was rnnng offshore that day and wanted some water onboard for cleaning up. I have taken her offshore a couple of imes and love the vessel. just need motor mounts. i have a vibration at idle

On my '94, the water tank fill is on the port side step up to the side decks. Waste tank emptying port is on the starboard side outboard gunnel.
