How to post photos

OK. Say you were going to reply on an established thread like this one and wanted to add a photo. First thing you see is the text box under "Quick Reply". Under the text box are two function boxes, "Full Editor & Preview" and "Submit. If all you're doing to do is post text you can click "Submit" straight away. If you wan to add photos (or proof read your post) then click the "Full Editor". In addition to your text entry another box appears at the top half of the page showing what your post will look like. Also gives you the option of adding things like quotes, bold text and/or italics and a few other tools.

Down at the very bottom left there are there are a list of check boxes for various options and a gray bar tab for "Attachments". Click that attachments tab and another tab box appears as "Add Files". Click on "Add Files" and another separate pop up window appears that is essentially a file manager that you use to browse to where ever drive & folder your photos are stored. Select your photo & click "Open" An upload bar appears at the bottom showing your photo being uploaded & gives you a text box to add optional comments/captions. In the main text editing box place your cursor where you want the photo to appear and click the "Place Inline" button in the upload bar. Sure it's a lot of steps, but not that hard once you get the hang of it. One more thing, photo file size is limited to a max of 5MB (used to be a lot smaller). So if your photos are larger than 5MB you'll have to open them in another outside editing app first & resize it down to less than 5MB.
