heat pump failure
I have two heat pumps in a 2006 express trawler. I love them but both have stopped working. My understanding it is a factory install at original purchase. I can't seem to acquire a schematics for the vessel. Good guess is they have never been maintained and are either toast or need maintenance . I don't even know how to find them. Everything is crazy full of stuff and it would help if I knew what the units even look like. Can anyone give me guidance on location and visual clues as to what they look like . Manufacturer would be nice to know too. thanks lauren burch Top Dog burch.lauren81@gmail.com

Re: heat pump failure
Lauren: Actually they were completely serviced by the Espar heater man in Anacortes, Wa that you used for the diesel heater install. That happened no more than 6 months before your purchase.
If you still have his name call and talk with him. While he is too far away to work on the units -unless you want to fly him up perhaps he can walk you through them. What I do recall is the electrical panels were not up to par. He was able locate replacements.
If you do not still have his contact information maybe I can find him.
