27 FC Windshield Wiper Motor

Hello, My 27 FC does not have working windshield wipers. I figured I would just replace with new ones. Any suggestion on what to buy and where to buy them?

I got one off ebay for $55, but i think you may be able to find them cheaper on Amazon or locally.

Is the SeaChoice Boat Marine Self-Parking Windshield Wiper Motor Arm Blade Kit 41801 what you already had in your boat? I have a 1987 Albin 27FC and it looks the same as what I have.

Did you have any issues installing this? I need to replace both and want to make sure I know what I'm getting in to.

Is the SeaChoice Boat Marine Self-Parking Windshield Wiper Motor Arm Blade Kit 41801 what you already had in your boat?

I don't think it is an exact replacement, but it still worked great. The only problem I had with installing was the blade was a bit longer than the original, and kept hitting the window trim on each sweep - but not by much. The blade length is adjustable in this kit, so you may not have any issues. I adjusted the blade length so it only touched the window trim on one side when it swept over the window, and not the other.

Once I got the wires long enough to attach the motor (someone cut them off short long long ago), it was a piece of cake to put it on.
