Okay, it's time for some lighter topic than whether our manufacturer is going through a reorganization or a meltdown. I need to replace my now-ratty padded folding deck chairs with new ones. I bought one chair just yesterday (Outer Banks model ending in 40014 with a retail tag of $119) as well as two canvas folding chairs of the same maker. When I got home, I checked on line ads for the padded chair and found that the few reviews were not favorable.
Do any of you have any good or bad reports on similar or same products that you have had? I don't mind spending a bit more, if it's going to be worth it.

Deck Chairs
Anything that sits out on the deck doesn't seem to last long. 3-4 seasons at the best. I just buy the cheapest folding chairs I can get and let 'em rot.

I have these ...
http://www.garelick.com/product.php?pnumber=48106
They were not inexpensive but I'm heading for my 6th season with them and they still look pretty good. I store them in the quarter berth so they are not constantly out in the weather.
They were one of the funnier moments of buying my boat. My brother came walking down to the boat with these two chairs. I said "wow, you bought some chairs." He said "No, you did. They asked me if they were for Dogonit and I said yes. She then said I'll add them to his tab." What are brothers for? He didn't even ask how much.

I too have the same as Dogonit. EEz-In's made by Garrelick, my pair covered in blue sunbrella. What's best is they have stood the test of time...11 years and still in very good condition...have held onto until getting my Albin 28.

We have these, they are about 4 or 5 seasons old now and they look brand new. We wipe them down about once per month.JackK wrote:I have these ...

Our A27 had a 'sundeck' complete with beach chairs tied to the hand rails. It got attention.
