What kind of wood is the interior trimmed with? I want to add some matching shelves, etc. My best guess would be American Beech....

Might be Alder. Doesn't look like birch. Definitely not teak.

Let me know what you will be using for varnish:
I need to touch trim in the head, but it will not match anything I have in my garage. Needs to be no gloss, medium gloss, or minimum gloss,
Anybody knows what the original product was?
