Is Albin out of business??

Post by fairtide »

I would not like to spread a rumor, but I just received a note from another Albin owner that stated that Albin, the manufacturer of our fine vessels, is out of business. This was news to me, but, of course, they don't keep me in the loop. I hope this is an incorrect bit of information.

Last word I heard was that the shut-down of manufacturing was temporary while they reorganized. I do not know anything further.

Albin in or out?

Post by fairtide »

After I posed the question of whether Albin was among the living or dead, I found previous discussion on this topic that were dated Sept and Oct of this year. That discussion was locked and no new posts were invited. Anyone reading this more up-to-date item can view those comments. I hope that a reorganization is in progress. Just to clarify my reason for even posting the question: a reliable source, to use a newspaper way of actually naming someone, revealed that the company was going out of business, therefore I asked about it here. Is all.

Hi Fairtide,
There were two discussions going on. That's the reason one was closed. We just wanted to try and keep everything together. The one titled "Albin Factory Shutdown" is open and your comments are welcome.

Thanks,
John
