Teleflex (Sea Star) Updated Steering Cylinders

Based on this thread and having a look at my cylinder yesterday - my new cylinder should be here this morning.

I'm sure it's a straight forward process swapping them over but I can do pictures for anyone that wants them?

I need to replace my steering ram cylinder as well. What size did you go to and result? Appreciate any advice.

I recently replaced mine with the BA135 7ATM and am very happy with it. It has a few improvements over the original in mounting hardware and hydraulic connectors. I tried to rebuild the old one but it was so corroded on one end I could not get it open to put in the O rings.

We went with the HS5313-3. Plug and play. Works great.

I think mine was the same as Nancy’s. I’ll be down on the boat probably tomorrow so I can check.
