Little clip things on cupboard sliding doors.....

Post by Tree »

Whats the technical name for them? The little grey clips that hold the sliding polycarbonate in place when the boat is underway?

Mine have all but snapped off on one side now and things are starting to fall out of cupboards!

And if that doesn't work, how about gluing a piece of wood so the door slides in front of it (at the same location as the broken clip) and then drill a hole thru the door and the wood block. Put a thin dowel etc into the holes to lock the sliding door

If I can’t find them I’ll probably just mill some PVC and inset some magnets so they’re held that way. They must have a name though but I can’t find them for the life of me.

Ah, I was thinking it just lost it's effectiveness. Could that be some form of a track or guide that Albin cut down into small lengths?

Good call - I’ll measure it up and if it’s got a taper to the slot then that’ll do just the job!

I’d check with a commercial glass repair company. Got a feeling they may have something for use with sliding glass panels. Don.
