We've been using our coffee cup/stemless wine glass rack a dew years
just never posted a photo. It works well, retaining cups and glasses with vertical bungee (blue), yet items can be easily withdrawn just by pulling a handle, or grasping the OD.

Designed and made by me. It's all redwood for light weight. The shelf on top is a good place for our butane lighter for candles and propane stoves.
