Hello everybody,

I’m in the market for a new boat. Currently I have 2017 Parker 660 pilothouse. My Mrs fancies getting back into the marina life so an upgrade is imminant .
Whilst looking for a Rodman 810/870 I came across the Albin 28 TE.
Wow what a lovely Looking boat !! I’m after any advice that you guys may be able to offer. There are only a couple of 28’s in the uk, one is 1998 and the other a 2000. Both with the engine box. Performance figures seem to vary , is this normal?
I may be prepared to import one from the USA, if the cost is not too horrendous.

Neil - i am only down the road and it just so happens i know of one near me that is about to come on the market.

You are more than welcome to come have a look about at mine so you can see what you are looking at.

Lee, that would be great. I’ve not seen one in the flesh, just on the iPhone. It may not be for me so a good look at one before I set my heart would be excellent!!

I should think a bit of time would be enough. No need to submit an entire tome.

I wholeheartedly agree with Mark. There are a lot of great people on board, and Tree is one of them. Steered me straight more than once on parts and advice.
