shrimp season in full swing and we have oysters in front yard along dock-- crab traps stay set so we have a full array of low country boil products --we always look for an excuse to have a yard boil so come on down-- we are 1,100 feet off icw on lucy creek sw of icw marker 189 . bridge clearence 14' but good anchorage all along south side of river.we even have dockage with power--my 31 stays on a lift.you can call 30 min ahead for escort 843 521 1623. or ask cg station tybee to page bwsr unit 23

denis i am in beaufort-sc not nc-- distance is relative--if you cruise at 100 kts. it would be a short 3 to hr cruise yes i said 100.
many people confuse the two beauforts though pronounced different. both are great places--thll your son he is providing a serious service and to keep up the good work. if you overshoot elizabeth city we will welcome you.

Thanks for the information about where you boat. I will pass on your words to him, ( I tell him all the time also).
We are trying to find a nice place to buy some land but have not had any luck finding what we want yet. We have not been to SC yet but hear there are some nice places. It's kind of funny that we are looking for beaches like we have here in RI and CT but they don't seem to exist elsewhere.

Albin restructuring

I heard again on another boating forum that Albin was closing, so I called the corporate office today and the person who answered the phone (Damon?) said the Rhode Island plant was shut down. He said they hoped to restructure and start building again.
