Dusty bilge .. that's dreamy with the TE Series. Gunnel mounted fishing Rod holders are contributing culprits so I've used a hole saw on a boogie board to create custom plugs and it's helped.

Yes, your forward bilge pump is standard, but the low point is forward of it and only accessible by removing the dinette table and hatch cover beneath. That's where the additional pump would need to go.

Years ago there was a good discussion on this subject with pump install pictures. Unfortunately the member who posted his fine work with photos has moved on and it was in the days of photo bucket photo hosting for this site & the pictures have been lost. Their are other posts if you want yo search. The additional pump will resolve the standing water issue.

Almost like a fourth bilge..
I have never lifted the table and had not planned to. :shock:
Great storage for life jackets under the table and the bed is ready to go, flat as a pancake at all times.
In Florida and the Bahamas we never need to sit inside to eat or drink: Sleep and cook inside, eat, drink and be merry outside.
Got seats and tables outside as well as a full size bimini top.
But thanks to you, now I have to raise the table, remove the life jackets, remove the tool box, pump the new sump as well as install another bilge pumps. Thanks again.. :mrgreen:

I plumbed my small bilge pump to the stern side of the bow thruster tunnel. I found this was the very lowest point. Get the smallest pump you can - maybe even one of those Pencil style pump that go in small water tanks. Then drill a hole in one of the outlet glands of the shower sump and attach the pump hose to that. I spliced the power feed from my shower sump to the bulkhead aft of the bow thruster and created a busbar. From that I installed a foot switch hidden under the carpet under the table and wired it to the pump and busbar so the switch is only made when 1) the shower sump is active and 2) when I physically press the switch in the floor. The forward water flows into the shower sump and the float switch inside activates discharging the water through the existing skin fitting for the sump.

The key I found was to install a 100gph or less pump in the forward bilge and a 360gph pump in the shower sump. That way the loading on the cable in minimal and the shower sump ultimately can keep up with the bilge pump. I’ll be on the boat over the weekend so I can take pictures if it helps?

Good plan taking pictures, would love to see ‘em.
Also good idea using the shower pump system for the “bow-pump”.
. Unfortunately, I can't find a contact number or email for the builder.
Albin is out of business years ago if you meant the boat builder?
As for the fabricator of the bow rail, somebody may know, but unlikely that they kept the drawings.
Best bet is to find a similar year/model boat to yours and spend 20 minutes making a drawing with measurements and take photos, then get a few estimates from nearby machine shops.

Good place for a barometer, Weems & Plath, $69.95 on eBay.
No more space on this bulkhead for gizmos and gadgets, have to find another empty space to keep going. 8)

Opened up the bow compartment today to suck up the last few liters of bilge water. Noticed the bow thruster is short of 2 screws on top.
OR are they all like that.....?

Following Tree's example I purchased a small Attwood pump at Walmart and connected into the shower pump power lines with a rocker switch for the Attwood mounted on the aft side of the port seat. There was an extra intake port on the shower box so I used a hose long enough to put the Attwood as far forward as it would go. The stiff short section of hose holds the pump in place and I used electric contacts so when it fails it will be easy to replace. I too like a dry bilge and after washing the boat after a fishing trip I like to pump it dry before leaving the boat.

Where does the shower box drain to? Does it have it’s own through hole?
I never used the indoor shower and probably never will.
Is there a float switch in the box?

The shower sump pumps overboard on the starboard side. The switch on your DC panel activates it's pump and float switch on and off. The floor drain in the head drains to it and if fitted with air conditioning the evaporate drains there too. Is some of your bilge water possibly coming from an overflowing sump that is Off and your AC running?

My thruster also only has two screws . I had noticed the issue when having my boat surveyed ,and the surveyor (who at one time was a Albin dealer ) said that was normal.

Installed a “sump-pump”, it sucks up the last drop of bilge water.
Pump was $20 at Amazon, sucks really well for it’s size.
3 amp pump, remote switch in the head compartment, on the bulkhead facing aft.
Plumbing is 3/8” water hose with a piece of plastic screen at the end of the pick up hose to keep junk out of the pump.

1 GPM, that's good, the low flow rate is good, you don't want it overcoming the shower pump. BTW, 251 posts and I'm not even sure - do you have an engine in that boat?!?
