Stainless Portholes for a 28TE
Any one purchase Stainless Portholes recently? Where and for how much? I'm sure they are quite expensive but really make a difference...

I agree, the stainless portholes really look a lot better on the boat. Not only that, but they are more durable and long-lasting.
As for where to purchase them, I don't know, but I would suggest asking Albin who their supplier is. If you don't get an answer from them, I would suggest asking the local dealer if they know. If you do get an answer, be sure to post the information here, so that others in the future can reference it.
Or maybe you'll get lucky and someone here will know. We do have a former dealer on the board.

Assuming they're Bomars, and I think they are, they have an MSRP of $400-460 each! (Not sure of the size)
Here's a link to Bomar's site:

They sure look nice but that's a BUNCH of money that I doubt you'd recover in resale!!

Beckson Opening Ports (plastic)
A small hi-jack of the thread .....................
Here is a link to Beckson for the plastic ports on my "02 vintage 28TE.
I had come across this a while ago getting ready to replace some damaged screens.
