Here are some progress pictures. I got all of the core out because there were wet spots all around the perimeter and then also thru the edges. Got the new balsa epoxied in yesterday, waiting for a full cure to glass over it.

I would still like to see a picture from anyone of the hatch over the fuel tank connectors on an engine-box TE 28. I have a center hinge on the aft of the engine box cover of my 1998 TE 28 that I think would interfere with a hatch installation, but would like to see if someone has a work around.
