Wiper Replacements
Can anyone direct me to where I can find replacement wiper arms for my Albin 28TE. My year is 2002 and I'm guessing they may be original. I would like to replace them but wasn't sure if any after market brand would suffice. I would prefer a brand that has flex bend so when the center window is open/closed the wiper arm will spring back with the window.

Re: Wiper Replacements
The arms are probably AFI. If you look at your motor, it should tell you the manufacturer. You might experience a little difficulty getting the arms off of the shaft. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel to get mine off, Salt water environment plays havoc with aluminum.

Re: Wiper Replacements
I own a 1998 Albin 28TE. My wipers were made by AFI. Exact replacement parts are sold by West Marine.

Re: Wiper Replacements
I was all set to buy new arms for my wipers when I realised I could get pantograph arms from Amazon for like 10 bux more than the oe style arms from west marine. Figure one extra hole to drill but that's the route im going in the spring...

Re: Wiper Replacements
By replacing with pantograph does that require new motors, why the need for drilling the extra hole?
