Cabin Hatch Support Spring
My cabin hatch spring needs replacing. Has anyone changed this over to gas strut? If so, can you give me the specs on the product you used? Length and force pounds? Or easier to use a stronger spring with the same length. That spring is too easy to hit and cause accidental closure. I managed to survive this several times, but I fear my luck may run out.

Re: Cabin Hatch Support Spring
I replaced my cabin hatch with a standard off the shelf West Marine product, they have a few selections but nothing fancy or expensive and it works great. Tom
