Hello from Cape Town, South Africa

Post by Lars Kessel »

Hello to all Abin forum members. My name is Lars Kessel, I live in Cape Town, South Africa and I am originally from Krefeld, Germany. My wife and I immigrated to South Africa 17 years ago. We own a Beneteau First 345 sail yacht which we sail extnsively in and around Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope. I am currently looking intoi getting a trawler yacht to do the Great Loop and Bahamas, Caribbean cruising.

Welcome Lars, sounds like to have a very large sand box to play in. The loop and the near islands are a dream of mine, your post made me think if you can come so far I can surely make it out my back door. Hope your plans work out.

Lars - Welcome to a great group. I am sure you will be able to find answers to most (read all) of your questions about Albins on the loop, and in your proposed cruising grounds.
