Where to Place a Shore Power Panel

Post by stxray »

Hey Guys,
I looking to add shore power to my A25 and I'm looking for suggestions on where to place the AC panel. The panel in question is the Paneltronic #9972313B

. Pictures of AC panels installed in A25's would be greatly appreciated.

What I did was go to Lowes & get a weatherproof large grey PVC junction box deep enough to accommodate the AC breaker panel, cut a hole in the cover plate to mount the panel, and bolt the whole affair to the bulkhead under the dashboard.

I might add that I used a Blue Sea Systems panel with double pole main 30 amp breaker & added a galvanic isolator inline with the AC green wire safety ground & GFCI outlet in the wall outlets circuit.
