On my 2007 31TE, the windlass contractor is in the bow anchor locker, mounted on the vertical wall near the centerline of the boat (slightly to port). Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. That was the first place I looked.
Followed all power lines that leave the windless back to circuit breaker, up down switch, back to battery bank.
No contactor.
Cleaned terminals on switch now working fine.
Is it possible to not have a contactor?
Rob, you should know this. I am perplexed.

Everything leads to the contactor - the motor, the breaker, the rocker switch, the battery - something should be able to be traced to it…

My Lewmar contractor is also located in the Starboard anchor locker up at the top closest to the windless. See picture, the big wires are from the breaker, the two medium wires go to the windless, and the three small wires got to the up/down switch. The screw is one of 2 that holds the contractor up. (Top Left in picture)
