Very nice river. It's about 10 miles to Georgetown De. The depth was 13'+ all the way which is a treat for me. Lightly populated with nice homes. Joe Smith's marina is big with a cafe', ship's store, pool, showers. Best of all the people! Joe was at the show in Atlantic City. His staff was friendly, helpful and great to deal with. All the slipholders welcomed us and were friendly.
I recommend this marina to anyone looking for a spot to spend the night or the weekend.
We saw the new 35 but the owner was tired from cruising all week and didn't have time to show us the boat.
14 of us went to dinner at the Grannary restaurant. The service was good. The food was good. A little slow serving but I'm assuming it's because we were a large group.
Best of all was getting together again AND meeting some new folks. Unfortunatley my camera is broken. Hopefully someone will post a few pics of the get-together.
This is what it's all about. We all have busy lives with work, family, etc. But to take couple of days off and cruise makes it all worthwhile.
Great seeing everyone! The cruise home couldn't have been better.

Forrest says "woof"

What a great weekend. Pam and I enjoyed meeting everyone and the chance to see other Albins. The Sassafras Harbor Marina couldn't have been nicer and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The weather cooperated all weekend especially Sunday for the trip home. Hopefully the crew from Time Out will post pictures of the event.
