Re: Air Conditioning install/selection
Thanks All....I went with the recommendation of a friend who works for a large NJ boat builder. Went with Shields #149 hose. Below waterline...virtually crush proof, kink proof and heavy duty. Type of hose used for livewell feeds and scupper drain installation. Right around $2.50 per foot...and looks very nice. I'll take photos of installation when I get rolling. Still compiling all pieces of the puzzle. Should have everything by Monday....I'll hopefully be able to get the template done tonight for the AC shelf. Time is not my friend these days.

"The shelf" fabrication and install...3/8 plywood, glassed on both sides with 1708 biaxial cloth and chopped strand mat. Bedded in fiberglass putty. The bilge paint doesn't quite match....but...I'm ok with that.

Re: Air Conditioning install/selection
Well....lots of new holes! But...new unit fits like a glove...and install was super easy. I must have said 3-4 times to a buddy who was helping me..."what a well thought out boat". The 28 is a stellar design....
Here's the unit in place and plumbed. Just a few electrical connections to be wrapped up and...well....it'll be wrapped up. I've decided to go with a vent in the head as was suggested, as the route to the helm is just too congested. As they say..."The juice isn't worth the squeeze".
