Upgrading Tackle boxes
I removed the two tackle boxes today. They had a fair amount of dry root. I am going to rebuild the boxes with new teak wood trim and draw faces. We are also doing the synthetic teak in the cockpit. We are also replacing the trim and draw faces in the pilot house. I will provide pictures and an update. Removing the boxes involved removing screws from inside the engine room that secure the trim. If you also remove the screw inside the box securing the trim to the box. Once those are removed the trim pulls off. THen you can remove the four screws at the bottom holding a 2X4 to the bottom of the box. Once removed the draw box pulls free.

Re: Upgrading Tackle boxes
We finished the wood work and synthetic teak cockpit. It came out great. We rebuilt the tackle boxes and interior pilot house boxes using teak. Attached are some pictures. You can see the root in the interior of the tackle boxes.
