Fuel tank inspection ports.

Albin 31 TE

Does anyone know which removable deck panel provides access to the 3 fuel tank inspection ports?
The small one closest to the cabin or the large one aft?

I do have a copy of the manufacturer's tank drawings which I will find and post.

The large panel will give you access to the center tank. The small access panel only gives you an access view to the rear of the transmission and to the fuel tank shutoffs. The only way to access the tops of the outboard tanks would be to remove the center tank and then move the outboard tanks to the center one at a time .. lots of work.

Are you having an issue that has you wanting to inspect the inside of the tanks?

Thank you. Good info. Sent you a private message.

When I go to put the panel back does anyone know the name of the soft white product used to seal the joint?

The deck can be resealed with any number of products. I currently have 3m marine silicone sealing mine. Usually I use 4200 but decided on silicone because I've had to take it up so many times.

I found the 31 TE Fuel Tank Drawing from Luther's Welding. There are no inspection ports.
Here is a link and the drawing is now uploaded to the Document Library as well.
